Types of rebar
Simple rebar A1:
- Ductile rebar is the same as A1 rebar, which is also known as soft rebar or simple rebar.
- They are produced in different sizes from 6 mm to 400 mm
- This type of rebar is easily cut and bent without damage.
Types of simple rebar
- Simple branched rebar
- Simple coil rebar
Rebar A2:
- This type of rebar has a tensile strength of at least 2800 kg/cm2.
- Its main use in building construction is silence.
- A2 rebar is more used in building construction than A1 rebar, and it is used in cases where moderate tensile strength is required.
Rebar A3:
- Ribbed bars are helically ribbed.
- In terms of hardness, they are in the semi-hard category. The shape of the treads in this rebar is triangular (octagonal) in relation to the longitudinal axis, and in terms of strength, they have a higher resistance than A1 and A2 rebars. The current stress of the rebar is 4000 kg/cm2 and the breaking stress is 6000 kg/cm2.
A4 rebar:
It is considered as one of the hard products, and in terms of resistance class, S500 class rebars are mentioned in the regulation. The shape of the treads is in the form of a compound tread with respect to the longitudinal axis, and in this respect it is different from other categories.
The use of these rebars has recently been used a lot in structures, and if we use this product in designs, the weight of the rebar per square meter will be lightened by about 1 to 2 kilos.
