Electric silicon steel:

Silicon steel is an alloy of iron and silicon that has magnetic properties. This type of steel is known as electrical steel. It is a very low carbon alloy that is used in motor and transformer lamination. These properties are characterized by low core damage characteristics and higher magnetic permeability than carbon steels.
